Homalomena Selby is a tropical plant native to the humid rainforests of Southeastern Asia. Homalos means “flat” while Mene means “moon.” ‘Selby’s’ compact growth habit contributes to its appeal for indoor collections. Often praised for its tolerance of low light, disease resistance, and ease of care.

Homalomena Selby Plant Care

Watering

Water every 3 - 4days when top 2" of soil is dry. Keep soil moist but not soggy.

Light

Medium indirect sunlight or 6 - 8 hours under grow lights.

Temperature

65°F - 75°F 

Soil Mix

Well drained potting soil, Peat Moss, Perlite, Coco Coir

Humidity

Keep humidity high at 65 - 75%

Fertilizer

Every 4 weeks in summer and every 12 weeks in winter
